Assal Fash –
My skin care and make up regime is fairly simple and am loyal to products that are just as simple. I have been using the overnight repair for several weeks and really love what it has done for the skin around my eyes and lips. I even use it during the day before applying my make-up. I recommend this for anyone looking for simple yet effective products for their daily routine!

An absolute Godsend. To preface this, I have combination, acne prone skin. I have extremely oily patches by midday, with other areas dry, tight and flakey. I’ve recently incorporated retin-A into my routine as a preventative measure for sun damage and also for my acne. After about a month my skin was peeling like dried elmer’s glue. It was quite embarrassing and I was pretty desperate to find something that helped. I knew I needed a heavy duty shot of moisture, and my regular night cream (paula’s choice) wasn’t going to cut it. I opted for the Khiel’s night facial oil with a drop of rosehip oil (for the vit C), and that was great for a while. Made my skin feel wonderful in the mornings but I found that the consistency didn’t absorb quickly into my skin and just kind of…sat there. It was a couple of months before I found the AB’s overnight intensive repair facial oil. I was initially drawn to it because of the rosehip and seabuckthorn oil (both containing an extraordinary amount of vitamin C which is all good for combating photo-aging). I didn’t have to mix my rosehip oil into the Khiels’ oil anymore which was a huge bonus; not to mention if I didn’t dilute the rosehip enough it broke me out. It smelled so floral, and calming at the onset – great for winding down at night – and the best thing about it is it just sunk right in. Your skin seems to just drink it up. Literally. I’ve tried so many different oils from almond to shea to jojoba, you name it. I’ve even slapped some mango butter and coconut oil on my face to try to allieve the flakiness, all to no avail. They just sit on your face and with no additional moisturizing benefits. It mixed better with my moisturizer than any oils I’ve tried which was great because most nights I could barely notice it there. It’s so lightweight I’ve now been incorporating it into my tinted moisturizer or foundation on the days after a night of drinking or just too little shut-eye. Being oily meant that I would never even dream of using oils during the day lest I wanted to reflect the sun with my greasy face. This didn’t give me that but just made me “glow”. I love this stuff. I love that there are so many good-for-the-skin ingredients in here that provide the skin with nutrients and it isn’t just a moisturizing base oil with a sprinkling of some essential oils and concentrates (like higher end brands). I’ve found a use for it in everything from cuticles to just rubbing a teensy bit on the ends of my hair as all the ingredients are all natural and safe to use on just your face. An amazing multitasker that’ll keep your skin plump and youthful!
