Key Ingredients

Steam distilled from Lavandula angustifolia flowers, this organic essential oil has one of the highest antioxidant activities of all essential oils. Well studied for its wide range of biological activities, most notably its antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties, the fragrance from this oil has also been shown to improve mood.

Taken from the seeds of the desert Jojoba shrub, the liquid wax seed content is an ideal cosmetic ingredient due to its high oxidative stability and non-irritating, non-comodogenic moisturizing effects on skin. Dermatological research has found it to reduce cutaneous inflammation, through decreased leukocyte infiltration, as well as improve skin healing and the appearance of acne scars.

I love everything about this product: the scent, the fact that it is SLS and paraben-free, and the way that my hands feel after using it. Several people on my gift list are going to be receiving the lavender soap this year!
